
On the 8th of December, Sound of Hope hosted ‘Engage Australia Celebration’ at Eastwood Plaza. Every businesses who participated were extremely pleased with the result. Many of them told us, if Sound of Hope host another event like this, they definitely will come again.
Visayab Migration Service is the name sponsor of the event, they was really happy with the traffic, a lot of people went to their booth.
Visayab Migration Service Managing Director Dr. Sirous Ahmadis told our reporter, “we have just started to come into this market, and slowly I think that would help us a lot.”
For people who want to migrate to Australia, Dr. Ahmadis, recommended them to seek professional help, “make sure you talk to someone who knows how to come, they don’t have to be me, but just consult with someone who has been in this business. Because sometimes people come on a different pathway which is not needed. If they have a bit of information in advance, that will help them a lot.”
JHC also gained a lot of attraction on the day of the event. JHC sponsored most of the prizes, and the spinning wheel never stopped the whole day. JHC employees described to us, before they opened their doors, a lot of people were waiting in front of the shop.
Shop manager Bonnie said, this event is really popular.
Based on the number JHC provided, close to 500 people went to their shop to claim prizes.

Grace from HCF said, this event is really good, a lot of traffic, “We think this event is really important, especially for new Chinese immigrants, there is a lot they need to know.”
When asked about how young people who might think private insurance as not relevant to them, Grace responded, “young people might think they are healthy, so they don’t need it, but they can purchase additional risk. For example, ambulance is not covered by Medicare, and every time you call one, you will have to pay $400, this is very important.”
Phoenix from Apex Investment Alliance told Sound of Hope reporter the traffic is really good, “a lot of locals and people who live near by also come to participate this event. We are able to build a better relationship with our customers through this event, that’s very good”
She said, there was already people who signed up to do inspections on their show rooms.
Samantha from Everwell Medical Group said, Engage Australia Celebration is very good, a lot of traffic, and a lot of people added them on WeChat. “Furthermore, many people came to us to test blood pressure, blood sugar level, and consult about other projects.”
Downtown Group also said there are a lot of people came to their booth.

Australian veteran health product brand HIVITA said they were satisfied with this event.
AHPC Pharmacy Outlet President Ms Xing said, this event is really diverse, there are prize draws, performance and so many things.
Ms Xing told our reporter, “Event like this is a good opportunity to spread their brand, and businesses are able to directly speak with their potential clients.”
Ms Xing said, they have been working with Sound of Hope for a while, and have always been working together closely.
Aussie Hybrid Solar said, there are also a lot of people went to consult them at the scene.
Parisa from Australian Southern Cross Immigration Services said, this event by Sound of Hope is pretty successful, “a lot of people participate in it, the performances included local choirs and various performances group, it is really diverse. Then there is lion dancing, which is quite fitting in Eastwood.”

Mr Yu from China Pottery said, I think this event is pretty good, it is spreading Chinese culture, that’s a really important thing to do.
Renee who partnered with Sound of Hope to set up the jumping castle for this event said, “I think this event is pretty good, and businesses are able to gain a lot of publicities.”

Australian Childcare magazine’s editor Charlene said, she think this event is great, “just like its theme ‘Engage Australia’, it brings useful information to the Chinese communities.”
“There are lots of family friendly activities, like that jumping castle, and lots of performances. We can see people come and go, the atmosphere is bustling.”
